Interested in running for elected office, working on a campaign, or on candidate recruitment? Then this program is for you!
Whether you’re looking into running for City Council, your County Board of Supervisors, a State Assembly seat, Congress, or are simply interested in the political process and want to get involved, the Redding Chamber Candidate’s Academy sponsored by the Chamber PAC*, is the place to start you off on the right track.
This program is non-partisan and is designed to empower pro-business citizens of Shasta County to run for elected office.
The Academy will be held Wednesday night for four weeks from 5:30-7:30 pm on October 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. Locations vary and are listed below.
There will be a time of networking from 5:30-6:00pm and then the session will begin. Dinner or heavy appetizers are included. The cost is $250 per person.
Guest speakers will be in attendance to facilitate seminars with discussion topics ranging from developing a passion to run for office to funding a winning campaign.
