Are you interested in running for elected office, working on a campaign, or on candidate recruitment? Then this program is for you!
Whether you’re looking into running for City Council, your County Board of Supervisors, a State Assembly seat, Congress, or are simply interested in the political process and want to get involved, the Redding Chamber Candidates Academy sponsored by the Redding Chamber Political Action Committee*, is the place to start you off on the right track.
This program is non-partisan and is designed to empower pro-business citizens of Shasta County to run for elected office. The Academy will be held on Saturday, January 22nd from 9am – 4pm at 1321 Butte Street in Redding. Lunch will be catered by Odell’s Craft BBQ. The cost of the program is $200 person. Discounts are available for teams.
Guest speakers will be in attendance to facilitate seminars with discussion topics ranging from developing a passion to run for office to funding a winning campaign.
