OUr Policy Positions

Public Safety

We support investment in law enforcement, accountability in crime prevention, and community partnerships that enhance safety. We advocate for policies that reduce crime, support rehabilitation, and ensure public spaces remain safe and welcoming for all.

Homelessness Solutions

We back accountable, results-driven programs that connect individuals with work, treatment, and housing. We support behavioral health and rehabilitation services, and encourage collaboration among service providers to maximize impact and funding.

Insurance Reform

We advocate for tort reform, expanded insurance access in high-risk areas, and a more competitive insurance market. We support incentives for disaster preparedness and mitigation to reduce risk and lower costs for businesses and homeowners.

Economic Development

We champion pro-business policies that attract investment, create jobs, and support small business growth. We encourage collaboration with local government to strengthen building and permitting systems to reduce delays and improve outcomes.

Tourism

We promote Redding’s outdoor assets and support hospitality development through public-private partnerships. We advocate for clean, safe public spaces and policies that encourage events and cultural programming to drive tourism and economic activity.

Workforce Development

We support vocational training, youth employment pathways, and local hiring incentives. We advocate for efficient, non-duplicative workforce programs and policies that reduce barriers to job creation and help employers access talent.

Energy & Environment

We support proactive forest management, balanced environmental regulations, and resilient energy infrastructure. We advocate for local and regional efforts that reduce wildfire risk and ensure reliable energy for businesses.
