Let’s be real, no kid grows up dreaming of selling insurance. But when it became clear that rock star-slash-road racer wasn’t in Zach’s cards, he had to pivot. Luckily, he found his passion in helping protect people from the unexpected.

Zach grew up in Cottonwood, and after graduating from CSU Chico and moving to Sacramento for a short period, him and his wife Pattie moved back to Redding in 2010. Zach has been in the insurance industry since 2008, and with State Farm since 2014.

Zach’s Northern California community is incredibly important to him, and he’s proud to give back through service groups and local nonprofits. When Zach is not in the office helping Cheryl replace her She Shed (yes, that was him), you can usually find him with Pattie and his daughter Aria out riding bikes on the river trail or hiking in Whiskeytown. Zach is also a member of Redding East Rotary and The Redding Chamber of Commerce, and also a board of trustee’s member for Mercy Foundation North.
