Michele Goedert owns and operates a full-service commercial brokerage including sales, acquisitions, leasing, and management of landmark retail, office, and investment properties. Working to create an exceptional quality of life that matches the natural beauty of Northern California, Michele has a record of leadership in numerous community organizations. Michele presently is serving her third term on the City of Redding Planning Commission. She is a member of the Shasta Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors and its Executive Committee. Michele is a past chair and current member of both the Board of Viva Downtown Redding and The Women’s Fund of the Shasta Regional Community Foundation, and a founding director of the California Women Lead’s north state chapter. She has served on the Redding Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee since 2017.
Recognizing that employer leadership is the key to long-term workforce development, Michele would like to work with Chamber members to develop a strategy that enables local businesses and workers to compete in the worldwide economy. As a long-time downtown advocate, she looks forward to assisting the Chamber’s efforts to maintain the momentum of economic revitalization in Downtown Redding.
Michele and husband Brian, are the proud parents of three sons: Greg, an autism interventionist; Ben, development coordinator at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival; and John, head software engineer for DataRay here in Redding. An unabashed cheerleader of Upstate California, in her free time Michele is an explorer of backroads, hiking trails, and fishing holes.
