Amanda Hutchings is the owner and co-founder of Fall River Brewing Co. She was born and raised in Northern Nevada on a cattle ranch where her family still lives. She graduated from the University of Nevada and met her husband, John while living in Reno.
Amanda and John founded Fall River Brewing Co. in the winter of 2011 in their garage while living in the Fall River Valley. Eventually, the brewery was moved into a converted airplane hangar near Burney Falls where production occurred until June of 2018 when the new system came online at Fall River’s new brewery facility in Redding. Amanda and John take great pride in the building of their company, their team members, and the Fall River Brewing Co. brand and relationships.
Amanda also spends her days working at a local nonprofit organization and enjoys the work of improving the community through philanthropy.
Amanda is a 2012 “20 Under 40” awardee, a graduate of Leadership Redding, and the 2017 Redding Chamber of Commerce’s Rising Star.
Amanda and her family love the outdoors, being active in the community, and taking their dogs – Mugsy and Macy – on adventures.
