Through our ongoing partnership with Golden Valley Bank, the Redding Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the latest Business Confidence Survey. As you will see, business confidence has remained steady, but there is growing uncertainty as a recession looms. It is clear that attracting and retaining employees is more difficult than ever. You can be sure that we are working with local partners in education and workforce development to help commerce shape curricula.
As a convener of leaders and influencers that gets things done, a catalyst for business growth, and a champion for a stronger community, the Redding Chamber is focused on solving the greatest challenges our business community is facing in times of growth and in times of challenge.
Confidence among local leaders in August 2022 remained very similar to the previous survey results from February 2022. Since that time, there was a slight decrease of .7% with minor fluctuations.
