We know that the preservation of human life is of paramount importance in this current COVID-19 pandemic response effort. That said, as an association of businesses, we also know that the preservation of our livelihood is a close second.
True, “help” is on the way from the federal government for both employers and employees affected by this virus, but that help is not immediate. I have heard from many of you and I know the concern is real. That is why I want to take a moment to speak to you, our treasured business community. We know that this is a time filled with anxiety as no one knows how long this COVID-19 pandemic is going to last. We feel your pain and we are committed to doing all we can as your Chamber of Commerce to help you through this uncertain time.
We know that every day brings new and sometimes confusing information regarding your current options. Whether you have questions regarding available business loans or other funding, human resources questions, or if you are just looking for someone to talk to about other concerns regarding your business, we are here to serve you.
Please scroll down the page for important links to COVID-19 business resources. Also, I encourage you to join us this Friday at 10:00 a.m. for a FREE webinar co-hosted by O2 Employment Services, which will feature the latest information regarding HR legislative changes and COVID-19. Our message to the greater community is to please continue to utilize our local restaurants for takeout and delivery service and seek other opportunities to keep your dollars in our local economy. Many local businesses offer online gift card purchase options, which enables the business to get the revenue now and for the customer to do the shopping later. As always, in addition to sending me an email by clicking the button below, the Chamber is available to answer questions at 225-4433. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram and encourage others to subscribe to our e-newsletter at reddingchamber.com.
